The Recycling process of AMVAC

Once the items to be recycled are donated and dropped off or picked up, a team of veterans sort through the load. Within this process items are placed into multiple boxes of plastic, metal, iron, fiberglass, fabrics, paper, shoes, clothes and hazardous materials.

Many items are broken down into individual products. Computer towers are broken down into smaller items, such as hard drives are pulled along with motherboards and other data processing mainframes. These items are placed individually to be reevaluated and repurposed.

Items that AMVAC will accept to this process:

  • Computers
  • Computer Monitors
  • Computer Speakers
  • Computer Keyboards
  • Laptops
